"What a lifeline!

My Mummy Buddy gives the best friendly advice - I really don't know what I would have done without her!"

Sarah, Leeds

We know how overwhelming, isolating and lonely it can feel as a new mum.

So, we have created

Mummy Buddy Groups

to help alleviate many of the concerns that motherhood may bring.

What is a Mummy Buddy Group?

A Mummy Buddy is a couple of months or 'a stage' ahead of you in their parenting journey. They provide peer support and a friendly face to a local new mum or mum-to-be, helping them to settle into their motherhood adventure.

Mummy Buddies really make a difference by drawing on their own experience of all things baby, offering support, tips and local knowledge (i.e. the best baby classes, buggy friendly coffee shops).

Feel reassured, supported & connected.

“When I had my baby it was an incredibly overwhelming experience - I didn’t know what to expect and I felt so confused. I joined the Buddy programme and my Mummy Buddy has been an absolute lifesaver" - Nadine, Wimbledon

Are you Pregnant or

a New Mum?

Mummy Buddies offer a local, friendly face to help settle you in to motherhood. They will share their tips and knowledge about being a mum along with invaluable local advice from the craziest baby classes to the best buggy friendly cafes in town. You can meet up or chat via WhatsApp, whatever suits you best.

Help them settle into Motherhood

“I enjoyed being able to support my buddy to become a more confident and happier mum. The Buddy Programme helped me to feel useful during maternity leave and I loved being able to share my experience” - Julia, Leeds.

Are you a mum?

As a Mummy Buddy, you will provide peer support to a local mum-to-be or 'new mum'. You'll help them settle into motherhood by using your experience of all things baby and knowledge of the local area. You will give practical information, answer initial questions and direct them to other relevant mum and baby services.
